I don't know if any of you have had this issue, I hope I'm not alone. I updated to KK last week the last few days when I get to work or arrive home my WiFi will not automatically connect anymore. I have to open the WiFi settings then it will scan and connect to my WiFi. Checked my settings everything is legit. Any ideas? Or anyone else having this issue?

What happens if you "Forget" your home network, and then log in again?

I've had this problem also....so disappointed. Mine did that for about a week and then all of a sudden it just started working again. I really didn't do anything to it so I'd love some insight on it as well in case it happens again!

Go to Settings / Connections and tap Wi-Fi. Tap Menu / Advanced. Is Smart network switch checked? If not, try checking that. If it is, try unchecking it, rebooting, and then checking it again.

Well I don't have to forget it because as soon as I open the WiFi Settings it will connect on its own.

It fixed itself today but I did this just in case. Well see what happens

Yeah mine fixed itself today. Weird. I'll keep you guys posted if it happens again.

I'm glad it started working again but I'm still unsure why.....have you found out anything new?

Mine does it too since Kit Kat. There's times that not only does wifi shut itself off, but there's no 3g or 4g showing either, just nothing there. If I restart my phone it usually foxes itself, but that's getting kind of old.
