Howdy everybody!

I don't know if you remember but a little while ago I posted that I was getting rid of my Infuse beacuse of various issues.

Well, I'M BACK! Turns out I had a dud phone because the one I have now is PERFECT!! Well.....except for one thing.

Does anyone else notice that it take awhile for the Infuse to connect to wifi? Meaning, when I pull up to work or home, it takes a lot of time for the phone to recognize there is a wifi network available. Even ones that are remembered.

Any solutions? :p

I noticed that, too, but don't know the answer. Coming from iOS, that is a big difference.

If you are running Juice Defender or anything similar wifi connectivity might be disabled when the phone appears to be idlr. Try hitting "home" a couple times.

Even before Juice Defender, there was a long lag before wifi would come up. Sometimes I had to go in and click the wifi button (it'd turn itself off, it seemed). Now with Juice Defender there is a little delay, but at least it connects automatically. To me this is not really a problem. Bluetooth and wifi are two features I don't care they stay on at all times. I don't need them all the time anyway.

I usually just toggle the wifi off and back on again and then it works fine.

I always have to toggle Wifi OFF and then back ON, only then it will detect and connect to Wifi. I had the same issue in three diferent Infuse phones, AT&T have replaced my phone twice because of this only problem, and the third phone still does the same thing. No point on me going back (too much work to personalize the phone after getting a new one :-).

I hope AT&T/Samsung get the point and fix this issue.
