wifi issue

I have an issue with my wifi disconnecting from my network while the phone is on but not in use.
If i dont look at it for around 10 minutes and then check it to see if i have missed anything, there is a warning in notification panel that says cant connect to network, but after 5 seconds its back connected to my network.
I had the bionic before the rezound and had no issues with the wifi. Am i missing a setting somewhere that makes it disconnect when on standby? I am using high performance for my battery setting also

I had this problem, too. Took me forever to figure out.

From WiFi settings click menu in the capacitive buttons. Then choose Advanced, then Sleep Policy set to Never.

This is also where you can set static ip if you wish.
