WiFi issues after nougat update

After the nougat update, my phone has disconnecting and reconnecting from the WiFi every couple of minutes. Never happened before the update, but it's been doing it regularly since the night of the update.

I have 3 access points in my house with the same SSID and password so my phone will connect to the nearest one as I wander through my house. Previously, I had the issue where it would hang onto an access point even when the signal was very weak and I was standing next to another access point. I'm wondering if now it's disconnecting and reconnecting because it sees the other access points. I've been checking which access point it was connected to before and after it reconnects, and it always seems to reconnect to the same access point, so I'm not sure if the multiple access points is the problem.

I've done a factory reset, but it's still doing it.

I'm about to install a mesh network to replace my separate access points, and I'm hoping that will resolve the issue.

I think im having that trouble too. But not sure if its my metal case blocking the signal or its really the update that caused it. Have to observe mine when my new case arrive.
