wifi issues when not at home

Any ideas on why my phone will not connect to wifi signals when im out at restaurants and so forth?

Either the wifi needs a password and you don't know it, or the wifi has the same name as another one you've connected to that has different security settings. (Google remembers wifi signals by name.) Tell it to forget the connection, then connect again.

rukbat,i was at steak and shake in this instance,never have been there before but the same name deal could be an issue as well.ill keep an eye on that in the future
