Wifi issues with leaked OTA?

I am having a ton of WIFI issues.. 2.2 works fine except for when I am connected to my home WIFI, it shows a solid connection but data just stops flowing to/from the device.


If I turn off the WIFI and turn it back on and make a reconnection it works fine for a few minutes.

This wasnt like this on 2.1

I am not having that issue on Froyo, but I do not have that exact build. This could be an issue for only the stock build, do you have root access? you could download the newest build, FRG22 I believe, and see if that has the same issue.

I dont have root.. I updated to the 2.2 already..

I might have to wait for another update.zip to be leaked.. it's got no active service so thats the only way I got it installed..

from what i read online it is a known problem. same thing happened to me and the factory reset made it all worse.
from what i read the update has been pulled and will come out after the wifi problem is fixed.
it's worth the no wifi just to be able to update all apps at once.

The newest build is not the update.zip one that was leaked a few days ago. There is a new build out already, its not OTA but if you root your device you can install it and see if its fixed.
