WiFi issues

Why does the WiFi receiver suck so bad?
My previous phone was the iPhone 6+ (hated it), BUT I could be at the back edge of my yard and had 2 to 3 bars of WiFi signal. Now, with my note 5, I'm lucky to have 1 bar within 100 feet of my house (about half the distance).
Can anyone help me out?

Could be interference from surrounding routers. Snag the free Wifi Analyzer app from the Play Store: https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...om.farproc.wifi.analyzer&hl=en&token=N1yAmsjj

Then scan and see what's around you, what channel they are on, and pick a new channel for your router. It worked wonders for me.
