My S7 wifi connection will just disconnect when the phone hasn't been used for a while. This morning it happened again. I got up, tried to go on line but kept getting a "no connection, try again" message even though my wifi was connected and I had a great signal. The minute I rebooted, it came back to normal. Anyone else having this issue?

By chance are you on AT&T and have the AT&T smart wifi app enabled? I had the same issue and traced it to this app shutting down my wifi when it thought I wasn't close to an access point. This would happen to me at home being that I would lose location lock inside the house. Either disabling the app or changing it to never turn off wifi fixed the issue for me.

I have T-mo and it happens to me when there has been long periods phone not in use.

From what I have read this is a Marshmallow bug thats been going on for a while and has not been fixed.

If you are correct, that's fine. But I'm noticing that when I'm hooked up to my extender, I have problems. When I hook up directly to my modem, it's OK. The weird thing is that I get a stronger signal from my extender.
