Since early this morning my Nexus 4 has not been able to connect to the internet by Wifi. No problem connecting with my laptop. I can connect using my data plan. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My Nexus 4 is now able to connect. Problem solved. Not sure what the problem was.

I've had random cases like that. I just switch on the airplane mode, and then switch it off again. That tends to reset things and connection resumes.

I made an account just for this because nowhere I've been to mentions what I did.
On my phone (and I assume most androids with ATT) I'm sure others have something similar to the Smart Wi-Fi
1; There's an app called "AT@T Smart Wi-Fi"
2;open that
3; hit the wi-fi symbol down on the bottom right corner
4;a window will pop up and ask if you want to disable AT@T smart Wi-fi
5; hit yes,
after that your phone should connect fine.
