Well, I just flashed the most recently nightly of zefie's CM7 using the thread mmarz posted about the Scott Pilgrim rom port. It flashes just fine and everything, but when I try to turn on the wifi, it'll say connecting, obtaining IP address from so and so... and then it will disconnect, turn back on, and do the same thing over and over again. I've tried reflashing the rom, but that hasn't worked, and I don't know what else to do. Anyone have any suggestions?

Try flashing ath3nos's unofficial CM7. I use that ROM and I can confirm that WiFi works perfectly. However, I know when I first flashed it, I used a different kernel than provided and WiFi wouldn't work. Did you use the kernel that came with the ROM?

Yeah, Ath3nos Rom has the most working of any CM7 roms for our phone. Use the kernel that comes with it by default. If you try flashing AOSP's kernel your wi-fi will NOT work.

Weird.... I was just about to do that lol. But does anyone know why wifi won't work with the AOSP kernel? Just curious.

I don't believe anyone looked into it. Really isn't a point as everything seems to work fine with the included kernel.

i had a similiar problem with aosp. it would say my router is out of range and rebooting would only fix it
