wifi not working

[Android Central Question]

for while now ive had a problem on my galaxy j2. when i go to turn on my wifi i press the icon as normal but it doesnt turn on. it just says "turning on" and then turns off by itself. even when i get it to turn on it turns off by itself. ive tried using *#0011# and power cycling already. does anyone know how to fix this pleas i dont have enough money to buy a new phone right now.
