Wifi notifications and wallpaper questions

A couple of questions:

How do I keep it from telling me every time there is wifi?

Are the wallpapers all single screen or can you set it wider to pan as you move from screen to screen?

Open Wi-Fi and tap the three-dots menu. The first checkbox if to enable or disable the notification for available networks. Disable it.

Wallpapers are single screen but if you use a third party launcher you can use wider ones and enable scrolling.

When I hit the three dots, I get a pull-down menu with Scan, Add Network, etc. If I go into Advanced I get some settings options, the first is Blocked open networks, the second is Notify Me, which is already unchecked. I am still befuddled.
