WiFI on S6 Edge+ (auto connect)

Has anyone had issues with the Wifi not connecting to known wifi connections. My previous phone was the Note 4 and it worked great when switching or coming onto a new network... This phone though does not pick up the networks or switch from data to wifi network. I have the Smart Switch turned on.

Also something else I have noticed is if I am on wifi and turn off with the button on top of the notifications screen to turn the Wifi back on I have to actually go into settings to turn the Wifi back on... Hitting the button on the notifications screen does not turn on the wifi like it should... Was this a change from the Note 4 or am I missing a setting somewhere..
