Hey, don't know if anyone else has tried this. I have a few wifi networks enabled on my Samsung gear live, all good. But at my in-laws place my father-in-law insists on static IP addressing. This works fine across my laptop, S5 etc But I can't for the life of me figure out how to set a static IP and gateway on the watch? Anyone had any luck with this or is it "not supported" like on the Chromecast?

Thanks!

I am not sure if you can setup a static IP on Android Wear.

Hrmmm, not unexpected, but lame.

What's lame is static IP addressing. Why on earth would anyone do that?

If you really want static addresses, this can still be allocated from dhcp, by binding ip addresses to Mac addresses. This will then work with any client. Setting static addresses at the client is nearly always a bad idea and makes a network extremely tedius to maintain.
