Wifi or 3G/LTE?

What drains the battery more? Wifi always connected or 3G/LTE always on? Because i'm planning to upgrade my plan with Unlimited Internet but i see this offer of pocket wifi (also unlimited) with the same price 1k php (25$). a month. And what are the pros and cons if i choose pocket wifi and the pros and cons if i choose 3G/LTE.

true this, wifi mobile networks uses the least battery while on use....

also, just for your consideration, there is no battery drain just by leaving the LTE ON all the time, the battery is drained when the internet is actually used, like sync'ing, or browsing... same thing with wifi...
