Wifi passwords won't back up

Hello! I hope you answer to this question! Ok, look i have the Honor 8 on Nougat version. I have checked the Back up my data option which sais it backs up my WiFi passwords somewhere. Although i had to format my phone 2 time, and every time after this I had to re enter the wifi passwords again. Why is that?? Any way to fix this?? Thanks

If you had to enter the wifi password during the phone setup after a reset, then that's the way it is as you have not signed into your account yet. It's kind of a dilemma as you need to sign in first and for that unless you use your data connection, you will connect to your wifi account which will prompt you to enter password.
