Whenever I have wifi on the downlink arrow is constantly on. It's not downloading anything but it eats through my battery. I can't leave it on or else it'll be dead in a few hours. Anybody else having this problem?

I am seeing a similar issue on my work wifi (haven't noticed it at home yet). the battery drain is definitely faster when it gets stuck, but I am still at 60% after about 7 hours and minimal use today.

still trying to determine which process may be getting stuck

That's me too. I noticed it at my work as well. I just checked my phone on my home wireless network, and it's doing the same thing as well. It's constantly appearing and then disappearing. There's something definitely wrong.

I went to Best Buy and they gave me a new one, but it had the same problem. I left my phone home one day, took out the sim card and left the wifi on with sync off (I believe). It only lost about 3% in 15 hours, leading me to believe that while it shows wifi is doing something, it isnt doing much to effect battery life. Regardless, the down arrow shouldn't always be on like that, and there's still some tweaking Samsung can do to get better battery life (cell standby issues). Battery life also improves if you disable S Voice btw.
