WiFi Problem (different from others I've read about)

So I got my Galaxy Tab WiFi yesterday and I love it.... for the most part. When I initially turned it on and tried to sync my Google account I wasn't able to. Eventually I realized that even though it said I was connected to my home WiFi I wasn't getting access to the internet. So I turned on the portable hotspot on my Nexus S and was syncing and browsing the web just fine. I've been able to connect at work, through my phone, but not through my home WiFi.

Others WiFi complaints seem to say it stays at "obtaining IP". This says it's connected but I clearly don't have internet access. If anyone has advice I'd really appreciate it.

P.S. I can get on my home WiFi with my laptop and phone so that's not the problem.

Same Problem...

after I installed Dolphin HD browser. I had to revert back to factory settings and start over. Fortunately not a big deal as I had very little personal content lost.

Have you tried Firefox for Android yet. The home wifi could be a password or permissions issue on the WiFi router. What brand is it?

on mine i had to go to wifi hit menu, then advanced. i had to set a static ip, put on the gateway, and the dns servers and it worked.
