There's a new patch in Preware that fixes WIFI and makes the strength 2+ bars better. Get it now. It really improved mine! It changes one file in WIFI back to WebOS 3.0.2.

What do you mean? FYI I DIDN'T make it. It sets one of the files associated with WIFI back to v3.0.2 which fixed all of my WIFI problems for webOS/CM7.

Get in Preware. It is called something like wifi fix for 3.0.4. I know nothing about how it works. I do know it fixed my wifi for webos and cm7.

A patch in webOS cannot fix any problems in CM7.

That is correct and it also states: '..This patch fixes intermittent WiFi problems for SOME users, not all. All this patch does is roll back the PmWiFiDhclient.conf file to version 3.0.2, which for some reason was changed for TouchPad 3.0.4 and Pre 3 2.2.4..'

In theory (and practice) this should not affect CM7 Wifi.. indeed!
