My HTC 526G+ has problem connecting to my domestic wifi hotspot using WPA-PSK.
I entered the password but it did not connect, so I changed the encryption from AES to TKIP/AES and the connection was established.
Next day again same problem cropped up and I had to reverse the encryption setting to AES again to connect.

This problem has been occurring again and again after indeterminate periods and each time I switch the encryption settings between AES and AES/TKIP to connect.

I have upgraded the OS, Changed the name also the HTC One but there is no solution.

Welcome to Android Central! Is the router set to WPA-PSK/AES or WPA-PSK/TKIP?

In general, the best and most secure setting for your router is WPA2-PSK/AES. Try changing your router to that security setting, and see if the phone connects more reliably.

The router is set to WPA2-PSK with encryption AES or TKIP/AES.
The same setting works correctly with my PC and other android mobiles

Ok, and is the phone connecting with WPA2-PSK, or WPA-PSK?

Yes, each time the phone does not connect I toggle between the encryption algorithm AES AND TKIP/AES nad the phone connects immediately.

Does this happen with other wi-fi networks? If not, then it's probably an issue with your router. What brand and model is it? Is its firmware up to date?

It happens with other routers also. This problem is not faced in my other device which connect to the same router. I deleted the old access point and created a new one with the same result.

Try booting into Recovery Mode and wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data. Follow the steps in this video, but instead of selecting Wipe Data/Factory Reset, make sure you select Wipe Cache Partition. When complete, then select Reboot System Now.

I'm not familiar with the FactoryKit Test menu. From a Google search, it seems like something that's more commonly seen in Huawei phones, but no one seems to know what it's for. Since it's still under warranty, it might be worth contacting HTC and seeing if they'll give you a replacement.
