I am having a problem connecting WiFi. Seems it says I am connected but when I try to load the page it hangs at like 20% for a few minutes then says the page is unavailable. Happened on 2 different routers. Called Verizon and was told "we don't support WiFi issues".

Opened a ticket and waiting for feedback because I am never getting above 3 bars and am usually sitting at 2. Even where my Storm 1 held a 5 bar rock solid signal. And dropping a website or 2 connecting through data.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried rebooting the phone? I've had some fishy things going on with my WiFi, but power cycling the phone usually fixes it.

Hmmn. Have you tried setting the wifi to "always connected"? Does the wifi connect but not get served the ip? On your servers do you have enough address's set up? Do you have a wep key or other type of security? On mine, I don't want others accessing my router, so I only have enough ips available for the pcs/wii/printer/phones/etc. But I had to add one when I got my phone because I didn't have enough. I also had to enter the key on my phone as well.

The other thing is that if you are using the preloaded My Verizon bookmarks in the browser while connected to wifi, it won't connect. It needs the 3g to serve the info to your phone.

Ok....slinky, yes I have tried revolting. No dice.

TPC, it is an open router. No keys necessary. WiFi always connected? I know at one point it worked then it stopped w/o me changing any settings. It does load my Google homepage and that is it.

I am at work now will give the settings a go through later maybe I can come across something. You are definitely much more helpful then the techie lady who said "try turning off your old phone (a storm 1) and you will get a better signal.".

I was having the same problem and was going to post a thread. Changed channels on my router from automatically select to 2 and it appears to have corrected the problem. Will report back if problem re-occurs.

I had issues when I had my N router set to mixed, very slow downloads. I now have it set to G, and I hit download speeds of 15-16,000 kbs.
