WiFi starts on its own!!!

I have noticed that the WiFi starts on its own after a while.Anybody sees this?I always turn off WiFi when I don't use my Tab but after a while when I want to use the tablet I find that the WiFi is on.Is this normal?Anybody??!!

Interesting. I don't usually turn off WiFi, so I have never experienced this. This is definitely not normal and is something I would consider a bug. Sounds more like an issue with Android than the Tab. I imagine the background services are overriding your settings. You might try disabling background data under Accounts and Sync.

i haven't experienced that but i did notice that in airplane mode, when turning the phone out of "sleep" it turns wifi on automatically which is strange. the perk is that if you leave it in airplane mode you get much more battery when you put it in sleep now without having to manually turn on wifi cause it does it for you.
