AC Question

I've looked at many posts similar to my situation but nothing quite like whats happening to me. So I'll turn the WiFi on on my phone and it will connect me to my home WiFi, good so far. However after a few minutes it won't work. Any messages I'm sending on apps that require WiFi won't send and anything I'm doing on the internet stops working. This DOESN'T just happen when my phone is idle, it seems to happen at random occurrences, lasting a while before it turns off, or only lasting long enough for me to receive new messages. It started happening yesterday after staying in my brother's room for a while. He has a very poor WiFi signal from his room. Since then it has been playing up, not sure if that's related. The thing is it doesn't actually turn off, it's just scanning for hotspots. I have to turn off the WiFi and turn it on again to get it working for another few minutes; it's incredibly frustrating.

1. what kind of phone do you have? router?
2. try to reboot everything - phone, router, modem and test.
3. also perhaps try to change the router's channel or security and test.
4. perhaps your router needs replaced because it's old and/or dying.

good luck.
