wifi tether and official MR2 radio

is anyone having trouble with the official MR2 radio and wifi tether? I can turn on wifi tether (and the wifi hotspot), but once my laptop connects to my phone, the radio shuts off (4G icon disappears) and on my laptop it says I have no internet connection. once I disconnect my laptop, the 4G icon reappears and all is fine.

I flashed back to the MR2.5, and was able to connect to wifi tether just fine without the radio shutting off and I was able to surf the internet just fine on my laptop. is anyone else having this problem with the official MR2?

I'm using BAMF remix 2.1, Imoseyen's latest kernel and switching between the official MR2 radio and the MR2.5 leak.

I'm in a 3G area, but Wifi Tether is working. I'm on BAMF 4.9 / MR2 official radio.

**edit** I'm using whatever kernel came w/ BAMF.

MR2 and WiFi Tether works for me too. I was having that problem with the stock mobile hotspot app before and after rooting.and.changing radios, but WiFi Tether solved it

What version of tether are you using? I use 2.0.7 and it works fine

tried out 2.0.7, but I just flashed synergy rom by virus and had no luck whatsoever on any radio. flashed back to bamf remix 2.1 and the latest radio leak (MR3??) and it's working fine on 3.1 beta 2. not sure what is causing it to drop out the radio whenever my laptop tries to connect, but I guess it's working now...
