Wifi tethering after gingerbread update ???

Has anyone been able to tether (Wifi)? After the update I lost the Wireless tether app; its no longer in the market and batnicle no longer works as well. Loaded Wireless tether apk version 2.0.6, but its a no go as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Nevermind this one seemed to fix it.

I don't use tethering at all (I have free wifi anyways), but every indication I have heard is that none of the tether apps were working on GingerBread? Or that if one did work, it just brought up 3G Hotspot and warned that you would have to pay.

If you have one working though more power to you.

a straight blue tooth tether has always worked for me and it doesn't require root. Just something to check out if you like (it also works on rooted phones as well)
