For some reason I'm unable to connect to my Verizon wireless router. It keeps saying "Obtaining IP address" anyone know why or experienced this? Thanks in advance

Try "forgetting" that connection. (Wi-Fi settings, long press, forget) then tap "search for networks.

I've tried that... I have no idea what's causing this

my evo was having problems getting to my uverse wifi, i bounced the router/gateway and reattached. i've had to do this a time or two, i'm not thoroughly impressed with uverse hardware.

you may be seeing the same problem.

What do u mean by "bounce" and how do I do it? Did u ever get it to work?

by "bounce", i mean power cycle the router (unplug and replug the router). the router was hung up and i was able to get the phone reconnected.
