WiFi vs TF101?

How is the WiFi on the Prime vs the TF101? Currently have a TF101 at home and have a Prime on the way (the G+ part of the contest). My wife and I had agreed that she'd get the next tablet but I don't want her to have worse WiFi than I do. I can live with it, she will just complain to me about it (nevermind that I'd really prefer to have the Tegra 3 to the Tegra 2).

You have nothing to fear. Iin my experience wifi is perfectly fine on the TF201. Congratulations, and tell your wife to enjoy her wonderful new tablet.

You know, I really wanted to hear the WiFi was a lot worse just so I could have it. Maybe there will be something else about it she dislikes O

So is the TF101 really. Just the Prime is better for those of us that game a lot

I am also one of the winners of this awesome tablet (congrats to you as well, smccloud). When I told my wife, she could not have cared less about it ('Oh, really, that's great,' stated in a tone like she was reading a grocery list). So, when I get it and she wants to play with it, even though I know this will not end well, I'm tempted to remind her of her previous interest level.

Oh well. Can't wait to get it! Hoping I'll have it by week's end, but I assume I'll get it at some point next week.

my room is the wifi circle of death in my house....and i am still able to get a decent internet connection...so I think you shoul do just fine. I can' compare to the TF101 because i've never had one.

I tried using the reasoning that my wife didn't believe me when I said I won it, but that didn't work. I'm still waiting on Phil to send me a tracking #, although mine is coming directly from NVIDIA so I might not get one.

I just responded to him yesterday, as I forgot which email I used to sign up here. He had to order mine directly, so I got to choose the color, but I just went with the gray anyway. I'll email him this evening and see if he has a tracking number for me.

My wife has the 101 and I have the 201. Both are great devices and the WiFi works great on both. I have no issues with either.

Just got it today. Now to charge it up and then power it on once I get home (since it won't power on yet I hope it does at home).
