wifi wont stay connected

My wifi on my excite will not stay connected. The laptop works so its not the internet. What can I do? Any suggestions would be great I'm super frustrated and I don't know what to do. I tried a wifi app but that did not seem to work, I don't know if a different one would work or not. I really like this tablet and don't want to return it...... please help!

I have the same problem with my Note 2. Wifi won't remember wifi passwords, won't stay connected and some times turns wifi off by itself. Please help.
