wifi: Your Internet connection is unstable.

just got internet on the s3
never had any problem with wifi
however now I keep getting the following message on wifi:

Your Internet connection is unstable.

I wiped cache
factory reset
and still I get this message

I disabled mobile data, and so far I did not have the message anymore?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you only get that message on wi-fi? Go to Settings>Wi-fi, and tap the menu button, then Advanced. Are there any options there for "Avoid weak connections" or "Wi-fi optimization"? If so, make sure they're unchecked. (Wi-fi optimization is intended to conserve battery, not improve your wi-fi reception.)

Check any power saving options as well. I'm not familiar enough with the S3 to know where those options may be, though. Also, see what happens if you uncheck that "Scanning always available" option.
