Hello. I tried searching for help first and was unable to find what I was looking for. My question today concerns my wifi at work. I work at a company that has a guest wifi access point, but it requires that you agree to their use policies before being connected the web. I was able to do that the first time, but when I went back to the work the next day it didn't seem to remember my agreement to use the wifi appropriately. I tried finding the page to agree on, but was unable to. The only way I found it the first time was by clicking HOME in my browser which redirected me to the companies page. Why wouldn't it do that the next day? Am I missing something?

Any advice would be helpful. THANKS IN ADVANCE! ;)

Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies. If that doesn't work, your best bet would be to talk to your company's helpdesk or whoever supports the Wi-Fi system. :)

Generally a lot of these systems intercept your effort to go to any page and take you to the terms anc conditions page. after you accept when you hit home does it still go there(my guess is no)? or before you accept does going to any page take you there (My guess is yes)?

Synycalwon gave good advice. Clear the cache and cookies in the browser. Your GUEST network at work probably passed a cookie to your browser that allowed that browser session but has now expired and must be cleared. The process varies depending on the Browser.

BEWARE of any web surfing on the company's wifi especially as a Guest account. It will probably not allow you to reach out to any secured HTTPS sites.

Any time you are using your company's wifi from your phone be AWARE that ALL traffic is intercepted and logged if your IT department has the vaguest clue on securing their network. If you want wifi access for your phone and ANY of it is for personal use you want to request a login ID and Password for Remote or Web access from the IT department. Even then, ANYTHING you do on the company's routers can be logged and traced!

Depending on your position in the company and what they expect you to be doing with your time I'd make a point of not using their wifi for ANYTHING not directly business related. Even if you have a secure login ID and password so they can't track your files they can still track login duration and data packet transfer rates.

YMMV
