The only problem I've had, and I had this problem with the Bionic as well is that if I have wifi on and there's a wifi signal that it's connected to but isn't getting good reception from, the phone won't get any signal. For example, I have wifi on at home, but if I leave it on when I get to work, it'll connect to my work router which it gets a very, very poor signal from so I end up with no internet at all instead of it automatically switching over to 4G. An even bigger problem with that is, that it'll kill my battery when it's struggling to find the signal all day. On my Bionic, my battery would last until about 3 or 4 in the afternoon. If I had the phone in my pocket I would notice because it would get so hot. I try to remember to just turn off WiFi if I'm going to be in an area with a bad signal or not in one area for any length of time. I hate sitting there waiting for a website to load only to remember that it's not the website it's the phone and as soon as I turn off wifi it'll connect just fine.
