Wiimote on evo

Is there a simple way to get the evo to work with a wiimote? I search and search and I keep finding these detailed intricate threads that I know nothing about.. Im not really familiar with hacking or rooting but wondering if it can be done easily... Anybody know?

Sorry but you can only use the wiimote with the evo IF its rooted.1 reason while I'm tempted to root my evo.

Rooting isn't all you need to do. You have to install a custom ROM that has HTC's Sense UI completely removed from it. Sense's bluetooth implementation interferes with the Wiimote interface.

You have to root + nand unlock. There are guides on XDA.
You have to install CyanogenMod 6... it's a rom that you "flash" or install.
And get the Wiimote application from the market.

I've done it, but I rooted a long time ago and it wasn't that much of a pain... you get used to it once you learn about it.
