I have an S7 Edge running Marshmallow. I do not want to upgrade to Nougat because FoxFi doesn't work on Nougat. My phone automatically downloaded the Nougat update, but I have not installed it. I would like to do a factory reset to clean out my phone and improve performance. If I do a factory reset will I be forced to install the Nougat update? Will the reset delete the update file? Thanks.
No, but try a much simpler Cache Partition wipe first.
