Being pretty new to Android I'm unclear if the ICS is going to create an entire genre of "Nexus" type devices without the carrier bloat etc. Want to get the Rezound and not wait for the Samsung nexus.
Nexus is a brand of phone that is built for Google by one of the manufactures and ICS is the software version that the Galaxy Nexus will be running. When ICS comes out on the the Rezound it will have nothing to do with the Nexus and will have some bloat and will be made for HTC with Sense. If you want the Rezound you can pick it up and expect to have ICS (I'm guessing) the first qtr of next year.
Thanks, that makes is clearer. I like the idea of no carrier interference with the device other that what is required for phone and messaging to work on their network.
