Will Android 6.0 update make MotoG3 slower?

I have received Marshmallow update for my MotoG3 . I'm in two minds whether to update it or not, since I'm not sure whether the update will make my phone fast or laggy.

I would update it. Back everything up and reset the phone after the update.
