I don't know about you guys, but with Note7 I had a real problem finding a case that protected the edge screens from drops and hits. I was able to find only ONE sturdy case that did the job. And there were two other No name brands on Amazon that almost did the job, I only feared the cases were not sturdy enough.

The key is the case lips have to be lifted higer and away from the edge screens. It can be done. Hopefully manufaturers get smarter and figure it out. Thoughts?

Well, I have an answer - this was on my Note 7. Nobody ever liked it because it wasn't pretty enough but all I cared about was that it protected my damned phone. I have a Ford F350 Super Duty truck so I called this my Super Duty case. I also ran the same case on my Note 5... saved my "arse" many times (drops)! Made by iBlason. I'm sure they'll follow suit for the Note 8...

Well, yes, IO don't like yours so much :D. Mine was Tech21 evo tactical in purple. Quite estetically pleasing but still very sturdy.

UAG has always made excellent cases. That case saved my Note 7 4 times. I actually think phones look better in cases.
