Will fast charging hurt my tablet?

I have a Samsung galaxy tab a 7.0 nook and some people at Barnes and noble say it completely freakes out the devices and damages it. My tablet charges super slow and sometimes I really need it but I want it to be at 60 percent or higher. So would buying the OEM samsung fast charger make my device go crazy and break?

Using a fast charger shouldn't hurt your tablet. The battery won't charge extraordinarily fast, though, because the other part of the fast charging system isn't in your tablet. Since you won't get the fast charging benefit, save some money and use the 2A charger that came with the tablet. You should be fine.

I prefer to always stick with what the specifications sheet provides me. So, if it does not mention Quick charging. Then I would stick to the charger that came with the device. I think a certified QC 2.0 charger like the Samsung one you mentioned would not do any damage to your Nook but I personally wouldn't do it.
