Will I be able to order an Unlocked Galaxy Fold?

I didn't jump on the early bandwagon but have recently decided I'd like to order an unlocked version of the Fold. As such, I'm not in line or anything. I've signed up on the Samsung page for notifications but have read some articles where the phone is sold out. Does anybody know or can maybe point to an article as to whether or not they're going to produce more and release an unlocked version for the rest of us (those who didn't opt in right away)?

I asked Samsung via a chat and that was useless at best.

It does not appear so at this time.

The T-Mobile one should be unlocked. I don't think they sell locked phones. But who knows when they'll be back in stock. Check on the release date if your local store will get some in.

T-Mobile is perfectly happy selling locked phones. In fact, some (all?) of their Android phones come with an app to request an unlock.

Damn thought tmo was all about carrying unlocked devices with their whole "The Uncarrier" moto. Lol
