Will I be able to pre-order an unlocked Fold?

I didn't jump on the early bandwagon but have recently decided I'd like to order one (unlocked). As such, I'm not in line or anything and I don't have a pre-order number.
I've signed up on the Samsung page but have read some articles where the phone is sold out. Does anybody know or can maybe point to an article as to whether or not they're going to produce more and release an unlocked version for the rest of us (those who didn't opt in right away)?

I asked Samsung via a chat and that was useless at best.
