Will I screw up my battery?

Did it on all my past phones including the Note 8 but now I have the S9 Plus I'm thinking about it. I'm a field tech and drive all day, in and out of the car 6 to 10 times a day. I have the iottie quick charge craddle and I just drop in the S9 and away I go. Most my battery gets down to is 85% then by the time I get to my next call it's back up to 100%. Usually when I get home it's still fully charged. Will this on and off the craddle screw up the battery life?

I think it might be better for it to charge it when you can. I'm not sure though.

best is 40-80% but it's said to be better over 80% than under 40%
