Now that the free mobile hotspot is gone, will the internet connection mode cost anything to use or is it separate from the hotspot feature and we can use it willingly and for free?

I disagree with FrankXS ~ While Mobile Hotspot is an add-on pay feature ....wired teathering "Internet Connection Mode" is not and thus is included as part of your unlimited data plan.

Here is the truth: The add on feature is for MHS (Mobile Hotspot), which is wireless tethering, and MBBC (Mobile Broadband Connect), which is wired tethering. In other words, you are 100% wrong. Tethering in "Internet Connection Mode" is the exact same thing as wireless tethering using "Mobile Hotspot" by Verizon Wireless definition.
