Will LG still be selling tablets if they stop making smartphones?

I have recently heard about LG planning to sell their smartphone division. My question is that can one still buy a tablet from them if that happens? Thanks for the info.

anything said here would be only a guess. according to the following, they are just selling their manufacturing but they will still create the phones. To me, it would include tablets.

LG hasn't been making many tablets in the first place, so I also suspect they'd abandon that market as well.

I haven't seen a new LG tablet in a few years and the last release I heard of didn't include North America.

It's a shame, their G Pad line was a good mid range tablet, far better value for years than Samsungs Tab A line.

It seems like they were just focusing on carrier specific tablets. They made the G Pad 5 last year for T-Mobile: https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/lg-g-pad-5-101

Verizon used to carry them, I think they removed them from the line up to make room for their Ellipsis tablets. The LG tablets were definitely better. I remember wanting a WiFi only one a few years ago and had no luck locating one.

LG still sells tablets on their website and you can still find them in Verizon's store.
