Will my Google Play Credits transfer if I get a new phone?

I'm changing over to a new android phone soon due to the touch going out on present one), and I have close to $70 in Google Play Credits. Due to touch issues, I can't even access Google Play Store or Android Pay (formerly Google Wallet), so I couldn't spend it if I tried. So if I were to get a new phone, will these credits transfer over? As would my Google account? I hate to just let it go to waste.

Yes they will, as long as you sign in with the same gmail account. I've had my credits with me through 6 phones this year.
