Will my rooted MyTouch4G get the 2.3 update?

I rooted my MyTouch4G and switched roms a lot then recently I switched back to the original rom for the phone and today I heard that the MyTouch4G will be getting the 2.3 update. Will I get it still, now that I am on the original rom??
