Will Oreo come to Galaxy S7?

Just wondering because I've seen conflicting reports. Some say yes, some say no. Some say if it does get it, it will be Q4 This year, or very early Q1 2019. I'm quite certain the S7 edge will get it, but not so sure for the vanilla S7.

While it is confirmed that Samsung will release an Oreo update for the S7 line, there is no set date. And things get murkier even if you have a carrier-branded phone.

Yeah I have verizon, and they are typically super slow to dish out updates on top of samsung's own lethargic rollout. would not be surprised if it takes until Q4 of this year or even early Q1 of 2019.

HATE IT. it screwed up a lot of setups on my s7 phone... don't like all the forced new S#^! they make you have and can't remove. Trying to go back to nouget(spelling?)
