Will S8 mirror to Samsung tv's?

When I try to mirror my phone to my Samsung TV it doesn't seem to want to connect. The tv will show up as a device in the Bluetooth menu but won't connect when I select it.. Any thoughts?

Mine mirrors to my Samsung TV with no problem. I can also mirror the TV and just the audio of the TV just fine. Did you use Samsung Connect to link the devices?

Couple other threads going on this. Look for Smart Connect and Quick Connect in this forum. I believe you need that app to mirror.

You have to use Samsung connect like certified said.

And be on WiFi.

I use Samsung Connect and it works fine for me.

Thanks for all the replies. I found my solution in another thread. I just need to enable Smart View in the drop down menu.
