Tectiles as in NFC tags?

The back of the phone is where the NFC reader is located. (on the battery) So a screen protector nor a case on the phone should affect the ability to read NFC tags.

I believe that is what you are asking.

Im more worried about a case affecting how well anything with NFC will work

As long as your case is not metal (magnetically shielded) then NFC should work fine.

NFC's range is about 4-5 cm, so it can pass through a plastic/TPU case without affecting the transmission.
