Will text messages delete on my watch when i delete them from my phone?

What text messaging app? I think of my Samsung Watch5 as a remote notification systems for my Samsung phone. If I clear a received text message notification on the watch, then that notification will also be cleared on the phone. As for delete, I think it'll depend on what messaging app you are using on the phone and whether or not you are actually also using a companion messaging app for such on the watch, or if you are just accessing text massage notifications on the watch with no actual companion app. If on my watch, in the companion text messaging watch app for Samsung Messages for example, I delete a text message, then yes that text message will be deleted everywhere, on watch and phone. I have not looked into if there are settings that would permit only delete on watch, not phone. I think someone else in here was also earlier asking almost the same question recently, in terms of if the watch could be used as a remote queue view system for the phone, with management of the watch queue/view differently than impacting what is on the phone, almost like how BlackBerry used to permit for "delete email from phone only, leave the email still there on the server...". There should be another thread also in here about it it the watch threads.

I have basically the same question. My watch shows "text messages" that comes on my phone. I don't want to delete them from my phone but I do want to delete from my Watch 5. If I delete from Samsung Watch 5 - will it take them off my phone? (They are text I want to keep).
