Will the G2X still get updates now that its discontinued?

Sucks, I just got this phone no more than 2 months ago. I should've dished out an extra $60 and gotten the SG2.. =[

Well the CM team is working on ICS for the G2x. It is unknown if LG will update the G2x with ICS at this time.

I honestly don't think LG or T-Mobile is putting out anymore updates for this phone. The best way to really enjoy it though is to root and flash a ROM because even on the stock GB 2.3.3 I was having issues. Hopefully CM9 ICS will get stable soon and we can get some 4.0 goodness on our phones!

Even CM team is having problems. CM_Arcee at one time posted that without Nvida drivers the Video recording and playback may never be 100%.
