Will the Note 5 work on the gear 2?

I'm thinking about getting the note 5 phone and gear 2 watch. I was wondering if the gear 2 watch will work on the note 5 and if not what other watches will.

Mine connects automagically, and texts, emails, phone calls all get routed through the gear 2. Except the weather, it randomly syncs maybe twice a day. I've tired every weather widget and that one thing stymied me!

Woo hoo! I fixed my problem, I had the right widget, but Nova launcher was the problem. The weather is on my lockscreen and syncs with my Gear 2 perfectly! Getting used to the stock launcher, not bad I think after a bit I'll like it.

I think that you can use Nova and just add the stock weather widget, set it to update hourly

Tried didn't update, which is too bad cuz I've used nova on my last few phones. Might be a T-mobile thing.
